| 1. |
George
Stevens Academy of Blue Hill, Maine will host the
Downeast Fleet Racing
Championship at the Maine Maritime Academy, Castine,
Maine. |

| 2. |
The regatta
will be held in Collegiate 420's. Racing will be
conducted in Smith Cove, Castine
Harbor, and will be fleet racing with A Division and B
Division racing. Teams will rotate
boats. |

| 3. |
The regatta
committee will provide housing on Friday night, May 19
and Saturday night, May 20,
lunches on Saturday and Sunday, dinner Saturday night
and an after racing snack during
scoring and trophy presentation on Sunday. Regatta
shirts will be provided. (Sailors and coaches will be
asked to bring a sleeping bag,
pillow, towel, and life jacket). |

Entry fee
of $25.00 per sailor and coach in order to defray
expenses. |

| 5. |
There will
be no warning signal after 1400 hours on Sunday.
Trophy presentation will follow
the last race as soon as possible so as to facilitate
an early departure. |

There will
be a limit of 20 schools, determined on a first come
basis. |

| 7. |
A Notice of
Race and entry forms will be mailed in mid-March. |
