| What: |
This
event will determine the USA Boys Singlehanded
(Laser Full Rig) and Boys Doublehanded (420)
Teams for the 1999 World Youth Championships to
be held in Finland July 1- July 10, 1999. The top finishing, age eligible male
sailor/team in these two divisions will qualify
to represent the USA. The Women's and Sailboard
teams will be/have been determined at other
events. This event will also serve as the Club
420 Class Mid-Winter Championships. All sailors
are welcome in all classes. To be eligible for
the World Youth Team sailors must be US SAILING members, living in the United States (other
conditions may apply to non U.S. or Dual
Citizens) and not reached their 19th Birthday on
or before December 31, 1999. (Full eligibility
requirements can be obtained from US SAILING.) To
be eligible to win "Fleet Trophies"
sailors must be a member of the Laser or Club 420
Class. |

is peak Miami, Fl season. Both the Miami Boat
Show and Art Show overlap the event. Make
reservations early. |
